Caddo Conference 2023: First Meeting Announcement and Call for Papers

The 64th Caddo Conference will be held February 23 – 25, 2023 at Beaver’s Bend State Park in Hochatown, Oklahoma. Hochatown is a resort community nestled in the Ouachita Mountains along the Mountain Fork River and the park has beautiful hiking trails surrounding Broken Bow lake.

Papers, symposia, and posters are invited that relate to the archeology, history, culture, and language of the Caddo Indians and the area of the Caddo homelands in Arkansas, Louisiana, Texas, and Oklahoma. Presentations should be 20 minutes long. Send paper titles/abstracts by February 3, 2023 to: Amanda Regnier – aregnier@ou.edu
